Refund Policy

Data by Kevin sells a one-time personalized retirement and portfolio decision-support report generated from user-provided assumptions. The report and related planner access are digital products intended for educational and informational use.

Because the report is personalized and generated from the information entered by the user, purchases are generally final once checkout is completed and report/planner access has been delivered.

1. General refund position

Purchases are generally non-refundable after successful payment and delivery of access, because the product is a personalized digital report workflow based on user-provided assumptions.

2. When a refund may be considered

A refund may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis if there is a clear technical or payment issue, including:

  • duplicate charge for the same purchase,
  • payment completed but access was not activated,
  • technical error that prevents reasonable access to the purchased report workflow, or
  • another payment/access problem that can be verified.

3. When refunds are generally not provided

Refunds are generally not provided because a user changed their mind after purchase, entered assumptions incorrectly, disagreed with model outputs, or expected the report to provide individualized financial, investment, tax, legal, or retirement advice.

4. User responsibility for assumptions

The report depends on assumptions and inputs provided by the user. Users are responsible for reviewing their own inputs carefully before relying on the report output. The report is a decision-support tool and does not guarantee future investment, tax, retirement, or financial outcomes.

5. Refund timing

If a refund is approved, it will be processed through Stripe to the original payment method where possible. Refund timing depends on Stripe, the card network, and the user’s bank or card issuer.
